About this picture

I couldn't help myself to make this after I saw the episode of Regular Show where this happened.

I think a lot of non-US collectors can relate... ^^''

Feel free to share or use whenever you see a fitting moment, haha!

I wonder if I've ever been charged customs? I don't really know how they work or what exactly they are =s

CrimsonPumpkin5 år sedan#3378294The first time I purchased from Japan I was pretty scared of customs charges, but nothing happened. I think postal service here is like that because people are still afraid of buying things from Internet. Maybe it's because these are figures and marked as TOYS through customs? I do know that customs charges appear mostly with electronic devices (or related to them) that come from USA

Hrmm, maybe they are more afraid of competition with the USA than Asia???

Almost everything I buy is also marked as toys and I still get the highest percentage of tax. ^^'' But the Netherlands is a country where online buying is crazy popular (also second hand market), so there are always lots of packages here.

Maakie5 år sedan#3378008Oh wow, I thought most countries in South America had a pretty rough situation with costums! :O You should read stories about your close-by countries Argentia or Brazil!

Alikurai5 år sedan#3378115"imagine?" XD are you kidding? I almost only have pre-orders lol
And even then I kind of bite down on it and accept it, but I'm way more angry about having to pay for a bargain item I bought just because it was cheap in the first place, and having a big fat unnecessary fee slapped on it OTL

Oh, I personally barely have pre-orders anymore and buy mainly secondhand and then try to combine with same sellers/auctions, etc.

Yeah I remember when I heard for the first time about Black Friday I went "awww yeahhh cheap stuff" and bought a lot...to get a huge customs fee and pay about retail for the items. ^^''
