Person 1: What kind of unique pose should we do for this Edward figure.
Person 2: How about we just make him stand, no one has ever done that before.
Person 1: Wow I can't believe this.
Person 2: Of course I'm just kiddi..
Person 1: That's genius!!!
Person 2: NO I WAS JUST JOK..
Person 3: I don't know how you do it, you're amazing!
Person 2: Guys it's a joke!
Person 4: It's no joke how brilliant your idea is.
Person 1: Alright there we have it, this figure is going to be just standing.

samkaizoku (7 dagar sedan) #51039037In my first comment I never phrased it as a comparison between a statue and action figure, I was simply referring to it as a product.
I dunno, at least ThreeZero are trying; Aniplex's face seems bland and those joints look scary :|

As I've mentioned, IMHO the ThreeZero's face is even more bland. As for the Aniplex one's joints - well, it *is* an action figure; I'd say it's par for the course. I don't think that the ThreeZero one looks better underneath those slightly awkward clothes. ;) Sure, the engineering in the crotch area looks a bit weird or even outdated, but it'll most likely look better in colour.

Silvery (7 dagar sedan) #51038413You should've phrased it better, then, because I wasn't the only one to read it like that. It still kinda sounds like so.
I don't think that ThreeZero's Edward looks less derpy than the Aniplex one. I'd even say that his face looks worse. His automail hand looks weirdly small, too. If I were to choose between these two, I'd most likely choose none. Hell, maybe I would even go with the Revoltech version, even with its monstrous joints - he's way simpler, of course, but he's got the spark (not to mention that at the time of his release he was super cheap, whereas these two will be stupidly expensive).

samkaizoku (7 dagar sedan) #51002267I think you are missing my point: my point wasn't to compare a statue with an action figure.
The point I am trying to make is that the Aniplex version, even as an action figure, looks uninspiring (and is taking too much time) whereas MegaHouse's initial prototype looks spectacular and could probably lunch within this year.
Here is a new entry for Edward which imo loops quite dope (it a 1/6) ITEM #806509

Silvery (8 dagar sedan) #50952599You know, some of us collect action figures instead of scales. Or both.

samkaizoku (19 dagar sedan) #49828389After seeing MegaHouse's initial prototype announced out of the blue (even if you can't afford it), I can't really see how fans will settle for Aniplex's banal and forever-to-release figure (even if action figure & cheaper).
And yes, you are free to take a break :)

Dharkan (20 dagar sedan) #49801825Lol, are you comparing an action figure with a statue? Give me a break.

samkaizoku (2 månader sedan) #44779508Whatever Aniplex will produce, I'm sure it will not be on the same level as the upcoming MegaHouse Precious GEM Edward figure. So, pass for Aniplex. It's taking too much time anyways.
