This is scary as hell when you know how fragile Phos's legs are.

naikousei (2 dagar sedan) #45213938This is a staple and stylistic choice of the sculptor of this piece. Take a look at some of her other works and you'll see what I mean!
I personally absolutely love her style but can see how it might be off-putting to others.
ENTRY #8156

Hmm I see. Well its up to taste then. I notice she tends to make the faces slightly on the pointed side. Her sculpts are well detailed with good posing. Its just that as you said, the expression is a matter of preference. Personally prefer a more accurate reproduction of originals.

naikousei no Tabi ❤️
Figologist (3 dagar sedan) #45151449Is there a reason for pho's long leg and thin body? That's putting off a bit as well as the expression of her face, not the lively pho.
But Antarcticite looks much better on the other hand and its tragic pose. Here's hoping for cinna :(

missprototype (8 dagar sedan) #44801394Funny you mention it. So I managed to get them all the way onto the peg, but upon having to take them off (the little shards in their hands snapped off in transit so I had to reglue it) they brought the metal peg with them. The peg is more secure in their foot than it was in the base haha. It's so long that it isn't really an issue for stability reasons, but I guess I mention it in the case that it happens to yours.
Thanks! Yeah I'm not worried about stability, it just dosen't look right and affects resale value :( I can imagine the peg coming out of the base rather than the foot. Actually contacted Good Smile because I'm dissapointed and they just said "use more force"...

I damn near had a heart attack when the package arrived from CDJapan, and I heard a distinct rattling emanating from within :O

Ayanami17 (12 dagar sedan) #44525647Yes, it was scary forcing her on to the peg. I've only got it three quarters of the way in atm. She's so delicate. Mine also has a bubble. I posted about possible melt before getting her, definately more worried about it now. Still, very nice and unique figure.
Edit: Her foot is well and truly stuck. Can't get it further in nor off :( Anyone else?
