Satomi4 år sedan#7039826Got him today and was happily surprised. After reading the horror stories about Miyuki ITEM #314106 was I really worried about how Onoda was gonna turn out. These are indeed tiny, pretty much the same size as a figma. But he is surprisingly well made. The sculpt looks great, very close to the promo pictures for the most part. I also want to mention his shoes in particular, they are extreamly well made and I was supriesed to see how detailed they actually turned out to be.
The paint job is also well done considering his size. Not perfect but they did a pretty good job on the minor details. The face seams a little bit of though, his eyebrows are probably a bit too high and his face seems odd. I'm not completely sure what it is, but it's something about the proportions between his face and the glasses that's bothering me.
Don't get me wrong though, it is still a nice face and it looks like Onoda. It's just that you can tell that something is off when you look at him up close. Especially if you put the figma beside him. He can stand on his own without any problem however, which is a relief since Makishima ITEM #315822 apparently had some problems with standing on his own.
All in all would I say that he is a good figure. I really like him and I'm glad that I decided to buy him. I was sceptical if MegaHouse was actually gonna be able to be able to pull these figures off since they are so tiny but I'm happy to be proven wrong. They seem to be getting better at manufacturing small figures and I'm looking forward so see how the rest of them turn out.
Also if any of you are interested can I try to post some pictures of him tomorrow

Funny that you had a problem with his face... I received mine yesterday and I thought his little face was perfectly Onoda! Agree with you on how great the detail is - I love that I'm managing to finally get decent (albeit tiny) biking boys!
