yesterday i got my very first nendoroid (along with some other things) i didnt wanna take her out of the box at first but i knew i would eventually. when i did, she was sticky so i had to wash her. i did struggle with taking apart her neck pieces from the face plates, i tried for roughly 20 mins then asked someone else and they got it off with ease. after that, i put them in warm soapy water (as recommended) and let the parts soak for maybe an hour or two? after that i took them out, the leg and arm pieces were still a little bit sticky but i didnt really bother putting them back in water, after that i let them air dry for a little bit (40 mins?) but i got slightly impatient and manually dried them myself then let them air dry again for maybe 20 more minutes. and then it was time to build her! i couldnt really decide on what face plates and poses to do so i kinda used the most basic ones..

anyways, here she is!

so, what was your first nendoroid or one you’re planning to get next?

I love the Luka Nendoroid - congrats! Sticky Nendoroids are always a pain but you did the right thing letting it soak in soapy water. I just get impatient in anticipation and never leave them in long enough whoops.

Congrats on your first Nendo, she's really cute!

My first was ITEM #296453, feels like it's been an eternity haha. I also have a few of them on PO which I'm pretty hyped about!

Congratulations! Washing older Nendoroids to get the sticky off is a pretty common thing, so don't be afraid to do it. They're figures, but they're designed to hold up to a little handling, so they won't break as easily as scales.

I am waiting on a ITEM #1131736 to arrive. I have one on display, but this one will be split up among custom projects (funnily enough, all SE characters).

Congratulations and welcome to the adictive nendoroid collector club.

My first nendoroid was ITEM #98980 Hatsune Miku racing 2012 that i bought at a local anime/manga convention a few years ago. Now i'm @ 20 Total, 15 nendoroid petite and 9 in pre-order.

congrats on your first nendoroid! she's absolutely adorable :3 The fun part about them is being able to swap everything around. I don't think I'll ever stop with the nendoroid line for this reason LOL.
