Greetings!

So June last year was the release of ITEM #740152 , the very first Pop Up Parade. I just want to discuss how I feel about the line since it first appeared in Summer WonFes 2018.

I am personally surprised how successful this line is turning out to be, along with Moderoid. It's so great to see so many different characters of a variety of series, media and gender. I recently just bought ITEM #872862 , the first figure in a couple of years and I am (im)patiently awaiting her to arrive. :D

The prices are just incredible for this day and age. I reckon a lot of people have been quite happy with them seeing the outrageous inflation of mainstream statues and the failing Figma line. It's very exciting to see the future of PUP and from what I'm seeing the bang for buck is quite decent.

Finally, what are your thoughts? Are you satisfied with Pop Up Parade? Don't forget to vote in the poll too!

Just received chocola and vanilla. Hard to complain for the price. You don't get the detail and shading of a scale but they both look great in their maid outfits

I've never seen the PUP figure out of the box, just seen in on display while still on the box a couple of times and via the promo pics. However, looking at the promotional pics of PUP, I guess the quality is top-notch and the price is also quite affordable for that quality I guess (although I still hoping for them to be cheaper (coz I'm poor :"V) ).

There's only one thing I couldn't understand about GSC with their PUP line. I think the release order are so random, like today they release Saber lily, and then they release chocola and vanilla, next is natsu and the gang, and then Iwanaga Kotoko, and then Crow from P5, and so on and so on - in contrary to their figma release pattern that mainly focuses on one or two specific series or kind of characters in a period of time (e.g fate or overwatch characters) so almost nobody can predict more precisely of what they will release soon. But in some way, I kinda like this pattern (I can't clearly describe it why haha).

I hope that they will continue in their current 3000-4000s price range in the future and doesn't end up like figma that has ridiculously increasing price range year by year.

jumpluff Pegasus Knight
Haven't seen anything I'm interested in, but I don't follow a lot of modern franchises, so that's likelier to be on me than PUP. Overall, they seem to be a good thing for collectors, so I hope they'll continue to do well and expand their selection.

I think they're pretty good for the price. I don't mind plain bases. I love prizes, and to me, these are like prize scales, which is neat. I have to say I would probably not buy for a character that already has good scales though, so I hope they'll continue to make a good variety.

I have shiro, which i like the pose for, not taken out the box yet, looks to be about 6.5 inches tall, the base is plain but that's not a problem.
For me these are good as i tend not to take out my 1/7 and 1/8 scale figures from their boxes, still need to do some work on display cases, so these are cheap enough i won't mind.
Looks to me like a good balance between cheaper prize figures and scale, so will definitely consider more if they have characters i am interested in

I like the characters and their quality but the bases are so plain.

I preordered Shiro, Vanilla and Chocola but due to covid I'm still waiting for their shipment

They are way too tiny, 6 in is not going to cut it for me.
Good thing Banpresto/whateverthefucktheycallthemslves is kicking.

Eh not my thing personally

So far they haven`t made any characters I would buy so I can`t say I know what the figure is like, but the concept of a low cost figure like this is a promising one and I hope they do more.

I didn't really want any of their figures until they showed off one of Kotoko from In/Spectre, now I'm seriously thinking about an order
