Hey guys!

It's almost Christmas and the end of the year (not really) This is my first ever blog and I just wanted to share the figures that i have collected during my first year of figure collecting. I will do another blog for my December loot which is yet to arrive and the next month prior aswell. Please excuse my shitty skills as a photographer and have a good read. Anyways, lets get started!

My First year collecting! o(〃^▽^〃)o

I have been a fan of anime like most of the people here on this awesome forum for as long as I can remember. Collecting is also something that I enjoy from interesting rocks to toy cars and even bootlegged naruto figures when I was a kid.

From a 3rd world country to the great Australian Outback, I have come a long way only to obsess in the most expensive hobby I have ever invested my time, blood, sweat, tears and most importantly money.

The first ever figure that caught my eye and dragged me to the world of figure hell was none other than:

Kurumi Tokisaki from Kotobukiya

As my favorite spirit in the series Date a Live this temptress succesfully opened up the gates of my wallet. After discovering her on an Australian website and as a fan of the series i could not resist.

Next is the 'Icy Sniper' Sinon Phantom Bullet ver. from Koto aswell.

No idea why I bought her really since i wanted GSC's Mikasa but was worth it otherwise.

After that I got GSC's Mikasa and I absolutely HATED this figure since it took me about an hour or so just to freakin put her together. I gave up and glued her damn 3DMG on her stupid af legs.

She looks so damn good though I couldnt stay mad. Im going to have to carry her around when i move out though (-.-)

Izaya Orihara was another figure i didnt mean to purchase but Amiami confused the hell outta me I ended up paying for him but he was so worth it when I finally received him!

Plum's Yoshino maybe one of the worst figures this year but I was lucky enough to receive a nice and cute figure without any problems

Next was Rin Hoshizora. She was the reason I regret not getting Kotori and also the reason I decided to go for Alter's School Idol Festival line rather than the birthday figures.

Utaha-senpai. I cannot describe how beautiful and sexy this figure is honestly. No doubt she is my favorite figure this year.

Lastly, Aquamarine's Shimakaze Major Damage ver. At first I thought I had made a mistake when I received her. But as soon as i got her out of the box my thoughts completely changed however i still dont like the base :/

That about sums up my figures that I received this year but im still waitng for the upcoming December loot and that will be on another blog. I still got some Nendoroids to cover but that would probably make the article longer amd boring af.

I know my collectiion seems really scattered and all over but right now Im 100% focused on Alter's Love Live line and other Love Live shit because I am now stuck in idol hell especially after I recently saw the movie.

Anyways thank you all for taking the time to read and feel free to comment like and subscribe wait I dont have a YouTube account ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I mean, welcome to the darkness, please enjoy your stay.
I hope this gives you nothing but joy as the 1st year is usually the most eventful in determining your habits as a buyer. If you keep a steady income, you'll likely be able to spread out purchases more evenly and successfully as time goes on. But temptation is the name of the game with figures. Everything looks so pretty, shiny and well posed. If you can keep that in check, you'll do fine. None of your pics look bad to me, so don't worry about that if you were serious. I'd say great pictures are roughly 1/4 skill, 1/4 location and 1/2 equipment.

I think i maybe enjoying my stay abit too much!

Thanks for the advice! I definitely learned alot about buying and spending cash in this hobby especially the fluctuating currency between JPY and AUD which is why im glad my part time job pays just about right although majority of my pay goes to thy figures :P As for the photos, i have been dubbed as the worst filmer between my friends as we skate alot and tend to make vids occasionally but im the worst filmer out of everyone so thanks for the compliments!

Glad you enjoyed the article and thanks again for reading!! :D

Nice article! Let's hope we won't burn out in the long run tho. This really is an expensive hobby! :p
